You know what the main thing I've noticed about who gets diagnosed as OCD and who gets diagnosed OCPD? Their gender. Men who have these same traits get diagnosed as OCD because their compulsions are respected as such. When women have the same behaviours they get assumed to have made a "lifestyle choice" - despite wanting to be able to stop doing it, which is how you define a compulsion. I am not sure this diagnosis is a real thing.
